“Women have suffered an agony of soul which you can never comprehend that your daughters might inherit political freedom. That vote has been costly. Prize it.” ~Carrie Chapman Catt

If you're looking for an interesting overview of women's suffrage in America, then this is your book! The first time I read it was several years ago after seeing the movie Iron Jawed Angels. Both of them remind me why I vote! If you didn't vote early, be sure and get out there tomorrow. If anyone has other recommendations for books about women's suffrage (nonfiction or fiction), I'd love be to hear them!
