Yesterday when I woke up on the day of departure to go home from my Mexican vacation, I was feeling incredibly stuffed and not feeling well. Endured a 4 1/2 hour flight home, walking through YVR, going through customs, driving about an hour to my parents house before heading to bed. Today I‘m taking it really easy and resting at my parents place.

I‘ve had the most lazy sick day. Slept in, ate a tiny breakfast, laid on the couch, took a nap, went to the Dr and got some meds, laid around some more. An eye infection should not take this much out of a person.

3. Now, probably reading or sleeping. When I was a kid, my grandma would come over to take care of me and we would watch musicals like West Side Story or My Fair Lady

Everything is covered in ice outside. It‘s very dark and apparently freezing rain. The kids have given me their flu. So two buddy reads and all these library ebooks books, with lots of hot tea, will be how I‘m spending my Saturday.

Thanks to all of you who sent me well wishes over Christmas while I was sick.... I feel tons better!!! Littens are the best and I don‘t know what I would do without this community! 💖

I‘m sorry to say, I‘m still sick. I️ haven‘t been able to sleep for more than an hour at a time so I‘m super tired. Luckily tomorrow is my day off so I‘m going to get as much rest as I️ can. Sadly tonight I️ can‘t even focus on reading. I‘m hoping to squeeze in a chapter after dinner but then, I️ think it‘s bed for me.

I'm not feeling my spiffiest but I sucked it up and came to work anyway. I've talked to my boss twice and gotten some work done. I probably should just finish my last 45 minutes by reading, hydrating, and listening to Spotify. But I'm actually thinking about leaving early and hitting the store for some soup. Something tells me last nights taco leftovers won't sit well. 🤢
