I saw this on Facebook. It's the books that Thomas Campbell, director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, read in 2016. He mentions Adrian Goldsworthy's "Augustus", Ron Chernow's "Washington", John Keegan's "Winston Churchill", & Peter Watson's "The Medici Conspiracy". I loooovvve finding out what the world's movers & shakers have read & which are their favorites among them. Is there anyone's list in particular you just have to know about?

LauraBeth I ❤️ this! I approach it on a more local level. Instead of looking at a list from a CEO I don't know nor will never meet, I've asked the CEOs who I've worked with (only the ones who I've admired though), what books influenced them. Same with other "disciplines". The biggest man of faith I know - I've asked him what his favorite books are. The best chef I know - I have her list of cookbooks, etc. This way it's more personal and more relevant to me (edited) 7y
GlitteryOtters The author Gretchen Rubin posts an Instagram photo each week of the books she read that week & I love it! I wish all of my favorite authors did this. 💕 7y

GlitteryOtters @MrBook if you don't have it at the library, it routinely goes on sale on ebook for just a couple of bucks every few months or so. 👍👍 7y

Hooked_on_books I'm so bad: I looked at this and thought, "that's *all* he read?!?" What a snob I am! ? 7y
ReadThisBookYall @GlitteryOtters Both Nick Hornby & Tracy Chevalier have blogs where they discuss the books they read that month. Hornby's also lists the books he bought that month, which makes me see how we get such big TBR piles! 7y
Suet624 @ReadThisBookYall loved Ten Years in the Tub. 7y
