Foragingfantasy Did I tell you that I took an ASL class in college? I've forgotten most of what I learned, but it was very eye opening and I very much enjoyed learning about the deaf community and met some very neat people. I had thought about pursuing it and becoming an interpreter, but the expressiveness and outgoing personality required to stand in front of crowds scared me off. I do remember the ABC's tho! 7y

ValerieAndBooks @Foragingfantasy I'm glad you took an ASL class (even if you didn't remember all of the signs), and got be part of Deaf culture if for a little bit ! Yes, interpreting is hard -- there's lots more to it than just knowing how to sign. 7y
ValerieAndBooks @TobeyTheScavengerMonk @LeahBergen 😊❤️ now I really want to watch it again! I've seen it 3-4 times and that's a lot for me, for a movie. 7y
