3 posts | 1 to read
Ninety two percent of teens say watching films is their number one pastime. So what better way for a parent to connect and have meaningful discussion with their teens than "Movie Nights?" Discussions include practical ideas, story points and follow-up activities so parents can talk with their teens about movies and spiritual truth.

I took a break from reading tonight to watch this, and now I‘m not sure I‘ll get to sleep. I‘ve seen this movie multiple times, but it still freaks me out. #teamslaughter

#DateNight with @MrBook ! We went to see Passengers. AMAZING. Such cool futuristic tech, all the feels, super exciting. Go see it! 👍🏻 P.S. Does anyone know if this was adapted from a book?

MicheleinPhilly My understanding is the screenplay was original and was one of those on the "Black List". 7y
DeborahSmall Saw it with Sophie on Boxing Day we loved it! Jon Spaihts wrote it straight for movie (I think) he did Prometheus too 💕 7y
brilliantglow @MicheleinPhilly is right. John Spaihts wrote the original screenplay and it was included on 2007s Black List 7y

TheBookAddict Apparently it wasn't based off of a book, but I did find this: Metro described its plot as bearing a resemblance to the EC Comics story "50 Girls 50" by Al Williamson, first published in the July–August 1953 issue of Weird Science,[16] in which two passengers of a colony spaceship are awoken from hibernation early and fall in love. 7y
Debiw781 We've been talking about going to see this movie! 7y
mom2bugnbee It's also somewhat similar to the plot of 7y
MrBook 😍😍😍 7y
BookNerdBritt @mom2bugnbee That was the first thought I had after hearing about this movie! 7y
BookBabe By the way, the pic looks weird because it was in 3-D, which apparently does not translate well into digital still photos. 😝 7y
