Is the memory of happiness that has passed, sad or happy? Four middle aged men sit together in a railway station, waiting for dawn to break. To pass their time, each tells a story of a woman they loved secretly in their youth... Romantic, elegant, suffused with melancholy, My Kind of Girl is a classic love story from one of Bengals great writers.

Pickpick

I read this between July 6 & 27 and gave it 4 ⭐️. It was an easy read about four middle-aged men stuck at a train station overnight and love stories that they told to pass the hours. Each one is vastly different but equally entertaining & interesting.

The idea of this book is quite fascinating, which actually made me read it, but it's like much ado about nothing. The book is so bland, it literally doesn't have any special thing. According to me, the writer just thought of the plot and just finished writing it in a whim.
I won't recommend it but if you want a super light read then go for it.
