Pickpick

This is a gorgeously illustrated book about life on a reef. The creatures inhabiting this beautiful landscape are threatened by a greedy Groper who floods the reef with toxic waste. The text is appealing to both read and have read to you. The illustrations are dynamic and filled with sumptuous detail. A perfect book for children starting to read longer stories but still love the visual appeal of a picture book! Graeme Base at his best! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My baby brother is moving house and followed the family code: “If there are books you want to get rid of, see if Lauren wants them first.” Of the books he brought over, I‘m particularly thrilled to acquire these; the tagged book has been a favorite of mine for a long time — the illustrations are captivating. (I can‘t wait to share these with #LittleDude when he‘s older!) #bibliophileproblems

Sign of the Seahorse is maybe one of the most beautiful picture books ever. It also has a great message about the environment. It ALSO happens to be one of only 2 picture books I have at my apartment (the other is Strega Nona). Gus likes it, too! #17booklove #picturebooklove
