I went into this story with lukewarm feelings, & lukewarm was where it stayed. This book reads like a walk in the park with friends on a spring day — the conversation is fun, the sun feels warm, the grass feels soft under your feet. It‘s nice, & that‘s pretty much it. There‘s no tension, no clouds, & nothing that really captures your undivided attention — which, for a walk on a spring day, is a good thing, but less so in a romance story. ★★½.
