I was reworking a chart for one of my other fitness goals not included in #BFCr4 because my goal date (doctor appointment) got rescheduled. As it turned out I was due for a reward because I made it a quarter way to my goal!! I ordered this food scale because food math is tricky. Do any of y'all have a reward system for reaching your goals?

Alfoster Books!🤪🤪 4y
MatchlessMarie @Alfoster I dont think I have the patience to accomplish something before buying more books though 😜 4y
Alfoster Agree! I have zero patience when it comes to books! But congrats on your goal!👏👏👏 4y

ljuliel You sound like me. I have Dr visits as goals. Probably because they make you weigh in. 😳. We don‘t own a scale ( because I don‘t want one. I have a mirror. ) I‘ve got about a month before my next specialist. SWEATING BULLETS. My reward used to be a cream stick. Not exactly a calorie reducing item, is it ? That‘s the only time I get one though. 4y
MatchlessMarie @ljuliel Who needs a gym membership when you have specialists measuring your neck and asking about your exercise routine every few months amirite lol I dont really care about the number on the scale other than proof I'm making progress. I think my ultimate goal is to reverse my sleep apnea and/or pcos 4y
ljuliel Yea, luckily I only have one specialist who is a stickler about weight. The others don‘t mention it. I agree, I don‘t really have a number goal, more of a Health goal. If I could lose weight, I might prolong my life a bit. None of my illnesses are going away. I could look like a supermodel and I‘d still have the same things , so I just want to feel better. I need to stick around awhile longer. Not sure why, but I might miss something. 🧐 4y
MatchlessMarie @ljuliel I definitely get that 💪💙 4y
Bookzombie I think the food scale has been the most important tool for losing weight. I didn‘t have any idea how huge my portions were. I would say for rewards that maybe you should pick an activity or item you want. I bought a pair of workout of pants. I have a goal I want to hit and maintain then take a bike ride with my husband. I also allow myself treats. P.S. I‘m still a work in progress. 🙂 4y
MatchlessMarie @Bookzombie That's encouraging! I've never owned one before. I thought it would make logging food less annoying. I eat a lot of nuts for the iron content and counting them out gets obnoxious after a while 😸 one of my other rewards down the line is a new pair of walking shoes. Might add one of those paint and drink classes as well. I've always wanted to go to one of those. 4y
Bookzombie Those are good rewards! You will definite like the food scale for that sort of thing. So much easier to weigh stuff then count out. 🙂 4y

When you're shopping for your #summersantagoespostal match and buy yourself three books instead 😱 I did get some ideas though!

LeahBergen Yep. That was me. 😬 7y
TheWordJar Ha! I was just thinking I needed to get two of everything I'd like to gift--one for the recipient, one for me! My recipient and I can be twinsies! 7y

Kalalalatja Same! 😂😂 7y
Smarkies Hahahah! I nearly did the same. And then made myself put mine down and step away from it. But realistically, I know I will be there next week buying the book I put down. 😂😂 7y
