The Dogs and the Wolves | 
pickI fell in love with Irene Nemirovsky when I first read Suite Francaise. And whilst I didn't enjoy this one quite as much it was still a really great read. I love the language that Nemirovsky uses. I find her books beautifully written and evocative. This one is the tragic love story of Ada and Harry and I wished it had a happier ending for Ada.

Lcsmcat I‘ve read her in both languages but never side by side, so I don‘t know. But I think her translator does a good job. 5y
