No photo as I returned it to the library. Good story but hard to follow in audio. I might have enjoyed more in print. Doctors 5,6 and 7 all together. I give so-so.

Just discovered that my hometown library has over 100 Doctor Who audiobooks / Big Finish productions available for download through Hoopla! Never mind that I've already bought a whole bunch of Big Finish dramas to listen to... 😁

rabbitprincess @mom2bugnbee There are 2 types of Dr Who audio: audiobooks of licensed tie-in novels (featuring any Doctor) or of novelizations of older Dr Who eps (from the 1st to 7th Doctors); and Big Finish productions, which are usually full-cast audio dramas but can also take the form of a novel or novella with a single reader. 7y

rabbitprincess @mom2bugnbee The audio dramas got me hooked on audiobooks in general. You can get them at www.bigfinish.com, or check if your local library has access to them if it has Hoopla. For audiobooks, many actors from the show do narration (David Tennant, Freema Agyeman, Neve McIntosh, Arthur Darvill, Alex Kingston...). They may be available on Audible or through your library. rabbitprincess @Laura317 It depends on the library, too. My actual library doesn't have any of the audiobooks on Hoopla. Also annoying is that libraries pay a small fee for every title a patron checks out, and they have a daily limit on the number of checkouts across the system. My hometown library met that limit earlier, apparently, because I can't check any of them out 😡 7y
