With this being a book for grades above the primary, we can see UDL principle 2.1-clarify vocabulary and symbols as well as 3.2-highlight patterns and big ideas. In addition, our ESOL strategy #30-encourage the use of diagrams and drawings to identify concepts is a great option for ESOL students for comprehension. 3y
