Broken Earth
Broken Earth | Steven W. Mosher
2 posts | 1 to read
An anthropologist and Sinologist, Stephen W. Mosher, lived and worked in rural China in late 1979 and early 1980. His shocking revelations about conditions there have earned him the condemnation of the Beijing (Peking) government, which denounces him as a "foreign spy."

As I promised @Desha --- besides missing the Murakami short story anthology, the two Mary K. Choi recent hauls, and the William Gibson K/J-pop idol technopunk, here's my #aapi East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Pacific Islands fiction and nonfiction stack! Comment for specifics on authors/titles.

Desha That is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your stack!! Added the tagged book to my TBR…sounds really good!! 👏🏻😊 2y
Desha Well added BOTH tagged books to my TBR lol 😂 2y
tokorowilliamwallace @Desha I could ship it to you. I found it in a free box of donated books featured inside a local used bookstore, and I haven't started it yet.The other I got for ~$5 at the thriftbooks website for a sale, but it appears to be a linear story of Vietnamese experience set in successive poetry entries. 2y
Desha They both sound very good for very different reasons 😂…but please don‘t send a book if you haven‘t had a chance to read it yourself! I‘m more than happy to take it off your hands if you have read it though! 👍🏻😊 2y

My #booked2022 winter stack prompts for World Religion Day/involving cults and the Winter Olympics/set in China. I think I can actually engage in reading these prompts!
