Look and See | Audrey Dautenhahn
1 post | 1 to read
With his musical career going nowhere, Max Kent anticipates a summer full of long hours at his coffee shop job. Then he meets Amelia Greene, a girl with a serious addiction to ancient history, and suddenly, his job becomes a minor footnote in an unprecedented adventure. Amelia has plans-big plans. A fourteen-book series on Egyptian pharaohs doesn't read itself, and nothing would please her more than to spend her waking hours at her desk with a highlighter poised in hand, devouring each volume one by one. Except, strange things keep happening around her, and Max is the only other witness. After receiving leather bracelets from Valar, a mysterious otherworldly being, Max and Amelia find themselves thrown into a fierce battle for the survival of their city. Equipped with the ability to see the unseen, they must learn how to interpret and use their new vision to face off against a foe that has expressed more than an unhealthy interest in their bracelets. They must make a choice-to trust the familiar or embrace the unknown.

4. Avocado 🥑😍 They‘re delicious, and something I can still have on my very restrictive AIP diet. They‘re also extremely versatile! I‘ve had them in pudding and frosting. #manicmonday

JoScho Thanks for playing 💙 6y
Mamashep I‘ve never heard of avocado in pudding! 6y
obviateit @JoScho it was fun! 😊 6y
obviateit @Mamashep it‘s so good! My kids even like it! Just blend a nice soft avocado with cocoa or carob powder, honey or maple syrup or agave, and a little bit of your milk of choice (that one isn‘t a necessary ingredient, it just thins it a little). Super easy. ☺️ 6y
