This is a childhood favorite that sparked my love of prehistoric life. My original copy is long gone, having been read to literal pieces. I found this at a second hand store one day and nostalgia hit me like a truck. Though rather outdated, the little vignettes of prehistoric life were still enjoyable to revisit. I look forward to sharing this with The Wyrmling someday.

This fits the #NaturalLitsyBingo2023 prompt for “Childhood Favorite”.

AllDebooks That's so lucky, what a find. I'm constantly on the search for an animal encyclopedia I had. Idk what's more exciting, the hunt or the thrill of finding a copy! 1y
MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm @AllDebooks Oh I definitely think it‘s the thrill of finding it that wins for me. Especially when I‘m not even really looking for them and they just appear out of nowhere. 😅 1y

4. The first I remember is Dinosaurs. I ran across a copy at a thrift store just within the past few years and thought I‘d died. I was so excited to see it, I snatched it up and bought it immediately. 🥰

peanutnine Thanks for the tag! I loved dinosaurs when I was little!! I used to watch that really strange TV show about the family of dinosaurs lol 3y
MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm @peanutnine You‘re welcome! Oh yes, I remember that! My parents were very strict when I was young and I wasn‘t allowed to watch it. 😅 I should see if I can find it streaming somewhere... 3y
peanutnine I saw it on Netflix not too long ago. I was tempted to rewatch it 😅 3y
