This book invited me to a different time and place. In 1910, Castle Gate, Utah was a rural, coal-mining town, filled with hardworking men and women, hoping for a better life in America. Leanna and Alex had each made choices that left them with regrets. As their love story unfolds, they experience racial tensions, heartbreaking losses and restored faith. A very satisfying story with memorable characters.
