The thing about hitting rock bottom... Ridley doesn't think he has anything left to lose, not after the life he's lived. Then he meets her, Freya Capone, the nurse who saves his life when the last thing he wants is to be saved. One look at her, and he's transfixed. He doesn't know what drives him to run by her house that night. Intuition. Sixth sense. Whatever it is, his gut screams at him to go, so he goes. And thank God he does. There isn't any farther you can fall... Freya hits bottom after her brother's death. Her rock. Her best friend. Her everything. Gone. She always knew it was a possibility that he might get hurt while on shift, but she never entertains the thought of him dying. Not until it's too late. She literally has nothing else to lose. Until she meets him. Ridley Walker. A biker with The Uncertain Saints MC and a local sheriff's deputy. The man responsible for taking away her best friend. But at least you have a solid foundation to build upon... The last thing Freya wants is to fall in love with the man responsible for her brother's death. She doesn't want to care that he is nearly killed. She doesn't want to have anything to do with him. But she can't stay away. And neither can he.

Mehso-so

This wasn‘t my favorite in this series - Ridley got on my nerves - a lot. He seemed disrespectful of Freya at times, like when he forgot about her for 2 weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️ Like yeah - you‘re busy, but too busy to text a hello?!?! Nope - Freya could‘ve done much better. She was sweet and a bit of a doormat, but so likable. She had gone through so much and it didn‘t make her a jerk (unlike Ridley)

CocoReads Not my favorite either but love that cover 4y
Lauren_reading @CocoReads yes - cover is gorgeous. I just finished the next book in this series - Wolf‘s - and liked it a lot 4y
CocoReads Wolf was fantastic! I liked Apple‘s quite a bit as well 4y

Finished this on my lunch break. Holy hell does she have some great covers. The story line was pretty good too. 🤣🤣😍😉 #lawenforcementmcromance

writerlibrarian The model looks a bit like Jensen Ackles from Supernatural 5y
CocoReads He does but it‘s not him—I checked. 😂😂😂 because she always thanks her models in the acknowledgments. 5y

Ridley and Freya. The plot line was pretty unbelievable but I enjoyed it anyway. I really enjoyed getting a glimpse into Peek giving Ridley his tats (who knew he was afraid of needles) and how Ridley is finally able to let go of his grief for his dead wife (who sounded all wrong for him anyway). Looking forward to Wolfs story, which I‘m starting today. #Romantsy

Mommamanzi Haha I have a full chest piece and am completely afraid of needles too lol. 6y
CocoReads @Mommamanzi he gets over it as well. But mostly because of Freya. In the meantime, I have nothing because I can‘t commit. Also I‘m afraid I‘ll wuss out. Not because of the needles but because of pain. 6y
