Late but I had to join in this #TakeThreeThursday because I play Statele everyday & have gotten really good about knowing the shapes of the states (except for Colorado & Wyoming which when you see them one at a time look exactly the same to me.🤷🏻‍♀️)

Anyway, I blew my first attempt & missed 3 because of my fat fingers & the tiny Eastern states so I zoomed way in on my second try & got 100%! 🎉

Fun! (Super fiddly to navigate on my phone, though.) I‘ve always been a map geek —when I was a kid, I wanted to be a cartographer once I learned what that word meant.

Here‘s my results for #takethreethursday. I took World Geography in high school. I passed World Geography and I don‘t know how I did it because it was hard. This quiz was hard because I can‘t remember where all 50 states are. I‘m Autistic. Autism affects the way I learn information. I‘m not stupid. I just learn differently than everyone else and sometimes, it takes me a while to learn things. It‘s been that way for me my whole life.

ElizaMarie Ha!!! 74!!! I used to know all the states and the capitals. Now - lost! Also I missed some of the states I had even worked in!!! Wow! 1mo

TheKidUpstairs I'm actually surprised that I was able to get 70% - all the middle states are a jumble to me (I'm Canadian, so I'm pretty happy with this result!) 1mo

Librarybelle Full transparency: I scored 94%. However, for 2 of the 3 I “missed,” my finger hit an adjacent state (I know where PA is on the map! I swore I touched the state). So, it‘s more of a 49/50. Not easy to do this on my phone. 😂 1mo

ImperfectCJ I rock the US States, in part because I've lived in so many of them and have done road trips through all areas but the upper Midwest. So, 100%, and I mostly do the Sporcle quiz for time (my teen and I challenge each other). I'm also decent with Canadian provinces and South American countries, but I'm not as great at European countries (the Balkans get me). I wouldn't do well on Mexican states, either, I don't think. 1mo

ImperfectCJ @dabbe Sporcle has a bunch of different quizzes (Canadian provinces, countries on different continents, etc). My teen used to challenge me on them (after he'd practiced them multiple times). 1mo

Dilara I got 24. My excuse is that I am not American. However, since I still had to learn them in geography class at school (we weren't tested on them, but we were told to memorise them 😋), it isn't much of an excuse... So I'll blame my lack of sleep instead 😁. I mainly failed on the states in the middle. 1mo
