Yesterday I had a last-minute gig (which was great, a candlelight church service), and my MIL and BIL came to visit. Today I made hubby‘s belated birthday cake (Black Forest Cherry Cake, the only way I eat cherries) to share with his family. Between the two days I‘ve read something like 25 pages of two different books. I‘m worn out and just want some quiet time with a book!

Lindy Beautiful cake! Also, I know how it feels to crave quiet time with a book. 🌻 2y
kspenmoll That cake looks delicious!!! 2y
Chrissyreadit Your cake looks great! 2y
Cathythoughts Cake looks divine ! I hope you get your quiet time 👍🏻❤️ 2y
ravenlee Thanks all! @Lindy @kspenmoll @Chrissyreadit @Cathythoughts The cake was a big hit and is almost gone (chocolate cherry cake totally counts for breakfast, because it has fruit!). And I did find a few minutes to catch up on a little reading, just not as much as I‘d like. 2y
