#LMPBC #GroupQ #Round8

Let me know what you think.

Megabooks I really don‘t want Lady Killers (I have a thing against serial killers.) and Zoo Nebraska (this sounds weird, but I can‘t read animal things as a vet.) otherwise I‘m up for whatever!! 4y
Hooked_on_books These all look really interesting to me and I haven‘t read any of them. I‘ll be happy with whatever you pick! 4y
Hazel2019 A drop of Midnight and The Last Wild Men look really interesting 😊 4y

Soscha Last Wild Men of Borneo then? 4y
Megabooks @Soscha Sure! That‘s fine with me. What do you think of Love Thy Neighbor over on mine? I think if we can agree on yours and mine, we‘ll be set! @Hooked_on_books @Hazel2019 4y
Hazel2019 Sounds good! 4y

Ok group Q! I think these are the best in my stacks to choose from for #LMPBC. I have a couple others I think would be great (Bunk, Stamped from the Beginning), but are a bit long and I think they‘d be too daunting. Let me know if you‘ve read any, don‘t want to read any, and/or if one in particular is calling out to you. I‘m excited for this round!

Hazel2019 So many great books! I‘d be most excited about reading Seawomen of Iceland or Locking up our Own! 4y
Soscha Any of these but the T-square of top & one on middle is what I‘d personally pick off the bookshelf. 4y
Soscha I‘ll have mine up shortly! 4y

Megabooks I was going to read Seawomen this year anyway for Reading Europe, so is that okay @Hazel2019 and @Soscha ?? 4y
Soscha I‘m fine with Seawomen. 4y
Hooked_on_books @Megabooks @Hazel2019 @Soscha We have a winner! Seawomen it is! 4y
Hazel2019 Yay! 4y
Megabooks Awesome!! 4y

Okay ladies I have picked some books to choose from for #LMPBC #round6 #GroupL pick. Let me know if a certain one catches your eye or if you have already read any

LiteraryinLawrence I‘m not in your group (obviously 😋) but I want to say that I loved Small Great Things. I think it‘s the type of book that would make for a great discussion in the margins. 5y
shellleigh33 I ❤️❤️❤️ Jodie Picoult @LiteraryinLititz All her books I have read so far make for great discussions 5y

Kayla.Adriena Out of this stack I have read the Bell Jar and Eleanor and Park , all the others seem excellent choices to me! 5y
shellleigh33 Thanks @Kayla.Adriena I will mark those two off the list. Just waiting to hear back from @Skeebies05 and @ruskigurl16 about there choice and then I will make my decision 😊 5y
aa_guer2021 @shellleigh33 thank you for starting to choose. I have never done a buddy read like this before. I am open to anything and I actually have not read any of them. 5y
Skeebies05 Sorry for the delay! I have read beartown and the good daughter. 5y
shellleigh33 @ruskigurl16 I love this buddy read. This is my fifth time doing it and it is so laid back. We all just choice a book each to read and a different color pen to use when we mark up. I usually post a couple books to begin with to help me narrow down my pick so that I choose something that we all will enjoy 5y
aa_guer2021 @shellleigh33 I am happy with the potential choices that you posted. I am a fast reader when motivated, though it will be strange to mark up a book (although I understand the idea behind it). I will look what I have and post some choices, too, soon. Are you a fan of any particular genre? 5y
shellleigh33 I like fiction and thrillers but I am open to reading most anything @ruskigurl16 (edited) 5y

@DAB asked me to compile a group of a couple dozen titles for the town‘s upcoming Women‘s Expo this weekend. Books should include business, entrepreneurship, health, biographies, fiction, etc., so the field is open, so to speak. This is the other of the two stacks. How‘d I do?!

Have you read any of these?!

VioletBramble I like this pile. Quiet is the only book from this stack that I‘ve actually read (loved it), but many of these look interesting. 5y

The #manpanion picked three books from one of my piles to read. I‘m not sure I‘m feeling any of these at the moment. What do you think?

Update Monday: While Harpy was leaning towards the Uninvited, Flavia is everyone else's choice. Thanks everyone!

PenguinInFlight I feel your pain. I‘ve been meh on my reading choices lately. I did want to read the Flavia de Luce book but it was already signed out on Libby, so I guess that would be my choice. ☺️ 6y
LazyDays Im really enjoying American Gods at the moment! 6y
Pamwurtzler I‘d go with Flavia. It sounds like you need something fun to read! 😀 6y
Gezemice I loved American Gods. It is not a light one though. If you feel a bit of a slump, pick something light and fun. (edited) 6y
Mollyanna I vote for Flavia too. As @Pamwurtzler said... they are such fun reads! 6y

#GetMovin When it comes to #NetGalley and requesting ARCs, I can‘t say #NO ‼️Although, I‘ve gotten better in trying to control my wants! Only 6 right now, which seems manageable.

rockpools And look at those publication dates, all spread out and in the future! *takes notes* 6y
Bourriquet76 I just downloaded Number One Chinese Restaurant too. 6y
