Mehso-so

This book had a little bit of helpful advice, but was more like a list of guidelines than an actual book. It was also very repetitive. The lists of all of the things that can go wrong with babies is enough to freak any mom out. 😰 As for their sleep training advice, if it works for some people, great. It just seemed more like a way of peddling their swaddling blanket, because of course, “it‘s the only one that works right!” 🙄 3⭐️

Ranchan Oh man, I don't know how I'm going to get through the hellhole that is pregnancy and mom advice books when (fingers crossed for "when") I get pregnant.. I NEED information to prepare myself, but at the same time I'm going to freak out SO MUCH because of everything that could go wrong... ? 6y
CarolynM Baby no 1 - I read all the books, he obviously hadn't, almost nothing in them was any help at all. I was convinced the books were full of lies. Baby no 2 - the books could have been written about her. It was all true, who knew? My point is if they help that's great, but sometimes you just have to make it up as you go along. Hope it's going well for you😘 and hope that things will go well for you too @oOArankaOo ❤️ (edited) 6y
CoffeeK8 @oOArankaOo this is the one piece of advice I got that I found truly useful - just remember that a baby is a little person who is sometimes cranky and sometime happy and who has a unique personality. The rest of it is making it up as you go 6y

JenlovesJT47 @oOArankaOo try not to worry! Like @CarolynM and @CoffeeK8 said, each baby is unique. I‘d take most of these books with a grain of salt. Good luck to you on getting pregnant when you‘re ready! 🤗💚 6y
SleepyDragon All three of my kids hated being swaddled. Just felt like sharing. 6y
JenlovesJT47 @NeesyBeth my little dude doesn‘t like it either, he likes to stretch. He gets MAD lol. 6y
SleepyDragon @JenlovesJT47 I know, right? My oldest would wrestle until he was free and then pass out, and the twins would just get mad and cry. I've never been good at getting any of them to sleep. Even the 10 yr old sometimes still gives me trouble. Lol 6y
JenlovesJT47 @NeesyBeth aww lol. Sounds about right! Every kid is different. I couldn‘t help but roll my eyes every time they insisted on swaddling, while saying only THEIR swaddling blanket would work because it‘s the only one the right size. Sure 🙄🙄🙄 6y
