COMPLETED for #NFNov — this documentary about the FBI‘s only unsolved hijacking. In Nov. 1971, a man calling himself DB Cooper demanded $200,000 in ransom money and two parachutes. He jumped out somewhere over Nevada, and was never seen again.

#TIL: Based on scenarios conducted by researchers, it‘s now thought that Cooper landed in water and died on impact. But his body was never found and the case is still open.

wanderinglynn That would be intriguing especially since the FBI looked into Rackstraw and then cleared him. 6y
