Polar: Came From the Cold
Polar: Came From the Cold | Victor Santos
1 post | 2 read | 2 to read
Ripped out of retirement by an assassination attempt, the world's most deadly spy--Black Kaiser--is on a collision course with a stab-happy torture expert and a seductive but deadly redhead. His mission only ends if he dies or kills everyone out to get him, and he's not in the habit of dying. This webcomic hit has been rescripted for print! * A guns-blazing espionage action-adventure in the grand tradition of Jim Steranko and Frank Miller. * By Victor Santos (Mice Templar)! "A beautiful, if bloody, webcomic... an engaging experiment in color, style, and wordless storytelling."CBR's Robot 6

The legendary spy/assassin, Black Kaiser, has retired, but now his former employer wants him dead. To survive, he will have to kill everyone out to get him. The GN is in black and white with a dash of red and has very little dialogue. I liked this and thought it was easy to follow even with so little dialogue. #LitsyAtoZ #P #GraphicNovel2019 #graphicnovelchallenge ⬇️

Bookzombie Movie Review: Polar is now a Netflix original starring Mads Mikkelsen and Vanessa Hudgens. The GN gave the basic outline, but they definitely had to flesh it out for 118 min running time. I enjoyed the movie and will probably watch it again. Disclaimer: I love action movies. This often includes the bad ones too. 5y
GondorGirl I'll have to check this one out! 5y
Chrissyreadit I might watch this with my son. Thanks for sharing! 5y

Bookzombie @Chrissyreadit I don‘t know how old your son is, but I just thought I would you a heads up there is a decent bit of sex in it along with the violence. 😬 5y
Bookzombie @TK421 I saw your review! Did you watch the movie yet? 5y
Chrissyreadit @Bookzombie thanks- I do not set a lot of limits on him now but I will think about it. I def appreciate the heads up. He‘s 15 and I recognize he could find or see anything at this point and I don‘t want shame or sneaking. 5y
Bookzombie @Chrissyreadit I understand. 🙂 5y
