24 Declassified: Trojan Horse
24 Declassified: Trojan Horse | Marc Cerasini
2 posts | 2 read
The eyes of the world are watching A powerful world leader is expected to join the Hollywood elite at a star-studded ceremony to be broadcast around the globe. But security has been severely compromised -- and a plot is already in motion to turn the Los Angeles Chamberlain Auditorium into a gruesome slaughterhouse. When an on-line "Trojan Horse" detected by the CTU cyber unit sends up red flags, rogue operative Jack Bauer is called into action. He has less than twenty-four hours to prevent an unthinkable act of death and destruction from occurring -- a televised massacre intended to topple a foreign government and bring terror into millions of American households. The countdown is on.

This is the 3rd in the series of 24 tie-ins, and it's the best so far. My only issue was that some of the tech stuff was way over my level of understanding, so I felt a bit lost at times with some of the details. But for the most part it was a fun action-packed romp.

Side note, my copy was bought used from the FOTL sale, and someone had taken EVERY page (separately as the tears are random) and torn a 1-2" rip across the middle of it. ?

LiteraryinLawrence Why would they DO that?? 5y
Traci1 @LiteraryinLititz I don't know. I had bought 5 of them at one time so didn't notice til I went to read it. I wonder if someone's kid got a hold of it. I could see my toddler maybe having done something like that when he was like 2. I'm hoping that's the case anyway and it wasn't an older child or adult who'd know better. 5y
BooknerdsLife Oh! What a horrible thing that happened to the book! 😱 My guess is some kind of accident too😫 But that HP cup is just too cute! 😍😍 5y

These are the books I've pulled from my shelves for the #24in48 Readathon this weekend. Frog says I'll never be able to read them all. I know, Frog. I just want a variety of options. Henry (my 3 year old) saw me picking books, and he added the Fat Cat book to my stack. I've also got some audios planned to listen to while I'm doing other things. Are you readathoning this weekend? What will you be reading?

Ruthiella I‘ve never done a readathon - no discipline! But you have a great and varied stack of titles to choose from!😀 5y
justagirlhighonbooks I'll be participating in the readathon, too! But I haven't decided on what to read yet.🙈 5y
Traci1 @Ruthiella I am certain I won't get close to 24 hours (sleep is my Achilles heel), but it should still be fun. 😁 5y

MartinaLove I didn't know there was a readathon this weekend! I think I'll participate even if I have a test on Tuesday. #priorities 😂 5y
