Never Let Go (Uncommon Justice Book #1)
Never Let Go (Uncommon Justice Book #1) | Elizabeth Goddard
9 posts | 9 read | 3 to read
As a forensic genealogist, Willow Anderson is following in her late grandfather's footsteps in her quest for answers about a baby abducted from the hospital more than twenty years ago. The case may be cold, but things are about to heat up when someone makes an attempt on her life to keep her from discovering the truth. Ex-FBI agent--and Willow's ex-flame--Austin McKade readily offers his help to protect the woman he never should have let get away. Together they'll follow where the clues lead them, even if it means Austin must face the past he's spent much of his life trying to forget. And even if it puts Willow's tender heart at risk. In this fast-paced and emotional page-turner, bestselling author Elizabeth Goddard keeps the stakes high, the romantic tension sparking, and the outcome uncertain until the very end.

I'm part way through this, and it is an easy way to find new authors to enjoy. Many of them have books available on kindle unlimited that look promising. https://lisatawnbergren.com/2021/03/christian-fiction-scavenger-hunt-stop-1-9/?f...

Never Let Go starts out with an intense prologue and eventful opening chapters, then slows down just enough to allow readers to relax, witness the character development and contemplate the clues to this cold case.

But, don't get too cozy, because the pace picks back up quickly and will have you on the edge of your seat!

First book I read by Ms. Goddard. I enjoyed the romantic mystery. Characters were interesting and worth rooting for. Will read more of her books.

Willow & all the cast in this story were interesting characters that I enjoyed getting to know. What I wasn‘t so thrilled about was that there was a large amount of stress & lamenting regarding secrets, past traumas, and about what was developing between the MC's. It felt very constant to me & although some of it was to help the plot along while adding to the overall tension, it just felt like too much. Full review at www.thegenreminx.com

I loved this book. My first time reading this author but I can't wait for the next book in this series. I loved Austin. Former FBI agent, cowboy, secretive, tortured hero – all catnip for me! Wonderful characterization, evocative descriptions of the Wyoming wilderness.
