I had eaten a fair bit of my dish of prairie stew before I remembered to take a picture. This is the recipe that had the directions that said to simmer lazily. It was yummy. Every recipe I‘ve made out of the tagged book has been excellent. If you are a meat eater, this cookbook is one of the best.

“Adjust heat so stew simmers lazily...”

I love recipes with more descriptive than average instructions 😄 I‘ll try to remember to post a picture of the final result.
