Ich lese Deutsch!
This is actually from the book Ferien in Frankfurt, the sequel to the tagged book. I'm sure that for the native German speaking #littens it's comically simple, but it's just my speed. Though I admit it's not a real page turner plot wise. 🤣
Now if only my listening comprehension was good. Lesen ist einfach. Hören ist schwer.
Hazel2019 This is great! I‘ve been looking for something like this! 😀 4y
Sace @Hazel2019 it's a great series. The author has a lot of easy German readers and I think an audio option is available. I should probably take advantage of that 😂 4y
julesG I could read a book for you, for your listening practice. 4y

julesG Or we could Skype? Just offering. 4y
Sace @julesG Let me think about it? (and check out Skype on a chromebook) Sadly, I am not a real tech person so I still learn the old fashioned way (and I'm really shy with new people face to face.) I am looking up videos on YouTube (like Nicos Weg and Die Küchenschlacht) and I'm trying to find German shows on Netflix. Aber danke! 4y
julesG I love Küchenschlacht. May I recommend some children's TV? There is this wonderful "We explain the world to you" kids' show "Die Sendung mit der Maus". It has its own internet page with a lot of wonderful short film explaining how things are made, come into being, etc. Might be worth a try. Www.wdrmaus.de 4y
Sace @julesG ganz toll! Danke! Ich mag die Kinderprogrammen (did that make any sense?) 4y
Sace @julesG about the only part of Küchenschlacht I sort of understand is the beginning where the contestants say where they are from. Even then I miss names and ages. I do pick up food Vokabeln here and there. 4y
julesG Kinderprogramme sind toll. Damit habe ich, als Kind, Englisch gelernt. 4y
