Very predictable and not a story you will always remember. It's slow paced and really unrealistic - but some books are not for everyone.

This crime thriller is slightly confusing at first as there are different settings and so many characters. It can be read as a stand alone story but I guess I would have benefited from reading the first DI Charlotte novel. The story is dark and twisted and I didn't particularly enjoy the intensity of the violent acts on children. I guess I wasn't the targeted audience.
