The Compass Rose | Gail Dayton
1 post | 3 read | 2 to read

Pickpick

Low pick, with caveats. Loved the complex marriages set along mostly polyamorous lines, and the amount of detail on them the author gave us. Was less thrilled with the soap-opera style romance(s) and poor-communication plotline(s), and the godstuck powers were awfully heavy-handed. The level of sex and the 'more powers as the plot demands' reminded me a lot of the Laurell K. Hamilton books.

But, plan to continue with reading the trilogy.

esurient (I had adored those books in the 90s, or at least the first 8 or 9 of them.) 5y
