If you haven‘t tried Burger Kings Impossible Wopper I suggest it. There is a little taste difference but not much. Today I learned you can replace the meat on most of the sandwiches with impossible meet. So lunch is an impossible Bacon King. Now if they make impossible bacon I can be in heaven.

vivastory I'm very intrigued by this... especially since cheeseburgers have been the only food standing between me & a vegetarian diet 5y
LibrarianRyan @vivastory in the month I have unfortunately been to BK 3 times but I have not been disappointed once. My impossiable was a little done on the edges but otherwise it was great. I‘ve had other veggie burger and I love them but they all have a specific taste. Plus this is the only Fast Food place I know that has them. 5y
AmyG My husband and I went a few weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely get it again as I try not to eat red meat. 5y

Lreads My husband loves BK‘s Impossible Whopper. I wanted to try it but it doesn‘t smell good to me. ☺️ 5y
rachelm They‘re yummy! Not healthy per se but very yummy! 5y
Samplergal I wonder how it rates in iron. I was diagnosed with severe anemia and am getting tired of red meat. 5y
LibrarianRyan @Samplergal I don't know. I just looked it up. According to Health line, more than an Beef Burger. You could also do Black Bean Burgers which some Fast Casual spots offer. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/impossible-burger#nutrit... 5y
JoScho I haven‘t eaten beef or pork in years and when this came out I was so excited! I can‘t even tell you how many I have had and I had no clue you could get the impossible patty on any sandwich-game changer! 5y
ravenlee @vivastory as a longtime vegetarian, here‘s my concern - BK doesn‘t have dedicated prep space for the non-meat option, so it‘s cooked and prepped with the regular patties. It‘s cross-contaminated, which makes it not entirely vegetarian. For a lot of people that doesn‘t matter, but I can tell you that eventually that much can make a vegetarian really sick. 5y
LibrarianRyan @ravenlee I have seen other people talking about that as well other places. But it's a start. 5y
LibrarianRyan @JoScho I could live without beef, but I would find it hard to live without Bacon or sausage. 5y
ravenlee What frustrates me greatly is that BK in the UK had vegetarian options 20 years ago, with dedicated cook and prep space (down to color-coded utensils for veg-only condiments), yet they‘re unable/unwilling to bring that across the pond. 5y
LibrarianRyan @ravenlee yeah that does suck. 🤬 5y
Mdargusch Bacon substitutes just aren‘t the same. 5y
