Pickpick

🎧 Book 2. A unique & weird book.

Genevich is a narcoleptic private eye in group therapy who hasn‘t worked in 18 months when he goes on a 2 day bender with Gus, someone he meets in therapy.

Gus offers Genevich a job protecting a girl being stalked.

The author uses a lot of wacky insane word pairings so if you‘re looking for anything serious, nope.

I like shockingly weird stories so I enjoyed it. I need to find book 1 for my TBR!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

RamsFan1963 I read the first book, The Little Sleep, and could only rate it a so-so. I think that comes from my dislike of the unreliable narrator trope. 2y
Twainy @RamsFan1963 ugh it was terrible with the audio … nearly impossible to discern between his reality & possible dreams. At some point I‘d be thinking is this real?! LOL (edited) 2y
vivastory I love Tremblay & I hold out hope that he'll revisit this character in the future 2y
Twainy @vivastory loved the book. I was captivated and laughing the entire time. Good fun! 2y
