Guys - I got ready-eyed reading this one. This is such a positive book that exclaims no matter your talent or disposition (quiet, loud, outgoing, shy), each person makes a difference in his or her own way. The simple text express various interests and personas, and along with the illustrations, share how each young person can make a difference. If I still did story times at the library, this would be on permanent rotation! Letter R for #BBRC #A2Z

I like how seeming-weaknesses are re-framed into something that is not shameful or veritable sources of contempt and humiliation, but simply unique traits or peculiarities that make you remarkably you. Patricia Barton writes a rhythmic story that engages her reader of any age. Barton sends a beautiful message to all of us that no matter who we are and what talents and passions we have, we are all remarkable. A must read!
