Mehso-so

An amusing premise about a meek postal worker and his over-the-top obsession with the beloved author. Loved the trivia tidbits, book references & especially the volleying conversation on the profound impact that women have had on Ernest‘s writing life. Too bad the ending chapters felt rushed, bungled and a bit weird. Still, I must thank @TheAromaofBooks for picking lucky #BookSpin number 13 to coincide with the new Hemingway PBS documentary. 🙌🏻

PurpleyPumpkin Sounds like this novel started off strong! Too bad it didn‘t finish the same way. But, it‘s another off your list, which is great!👍🏽 3y
UwannaPublishme @PurpleyPumpkin I guess my expectations were too high after seeing the title.🤷🏻‍♀️I did enjoy all the Hemingway trivia. 3y
