This book reminded me of the poems by Noureddine Aba (one featured on the picture).
This list by Assia Djebar of all the Algerian writers who died, for the most part assassinated, is long and moving. She talks about their deaths, but also about their lives, their ideals. Her writing can be sometimes confusing, but I liked it nonetheless. Thanks to this book, I want to read more books by the writers she mentioned... So much more to discover!!!
