The $50 I spent for an out-of-state library card was the best money I every spent. It's #blameitonlitsy of the best kind.

Sace @Librarybelle @LauraBeth sometimes I feel guilty for using it more than my local library, but whenever I check my local they don't have the book I'm looking for (electronic or physical.) 😔 BPL has paid for itself for sure. 4y

kwmg40 I live in a small city outside Toronto and I pay annually for a Toronto Public Library card. Worth every penny! Most people don‘t realize you can get memberships for public libraries outside your region. 4y

Billypar BPL is my library and I'm a big fan: I've never gotten audio books anywhere else, so I have no standard of comparison, but seems like the selection is pretty good. Never thought to look into out of state library card options 🤔 4y

Sace @Billypar @Tamra I try to use my local library, I really do but most of the time they don't have what I'm looking for in their collection. They don't use overdrive/libby, which I prefer. They use Hoopla, RBdigital and CloudLibrary, which really aren't that great. I can't do one search I have to search the physical collection on the website and then search each app. It's not really the library's fault....👇 4y

Tamra @Sace I get it! My small city library rarely has the ebooks and audio books I want, so I use a large in state library for those. 4y

JeaMar82 I have BPL too. Got it in August. Right now I can't check out anything because my card needs verified for some reason. 😭 4y
