Who has read this brick of a Babs biography?? 1040 pages? Never in my life have I read a book so long about one person.

This is scary😢! I hate to think of what this crisis will do to our indie bookstores, and even Barnes and Noble. I‘m going to try to make some online orders over the next few weeks. I would hate to see them close down—especially this amazing store!!
Book mail from myself!! These are the books I bought at Powell‘s in Oregon on vacation and mailed to myself so I didn‘t have to take them on the plane. I showed remarkable restraint, I might add—this is not a big box! 😁
So...
I‘m originally a NY girl.
Moved to NOLA.
Then I visited my brother in the PNW, fell in love with it, & have been in WA for over a decade.
Meanwhile...
That brother moved back to NY.
Just got off the phone with him.
They‘re moving back - this time to OR - about 3 hours from me.
And about the third thing I said was,
Now I can spend more time at Powell‘s!!!
