AlaMich Is that a peregrine? Our library has a pair of peregrines that return each year to nest on the fourth floor. There is a Falcon Cam so you can see when the chicks hatch. 4y
alisiakae @AlaMich It's a hawk, pretty sure a red-shouldered hawk. We don't see falcons too often where I live, but hawks are a common sight! And once in a rare while, a bald eagle. Our town has a Raptor Center with a hospital, and young bald eagles are sometimes released around the lake after they have recovered from whatever injury brought them to the hospital. 4y
