This is your official notice that I am posting the Winners. I have finally found a little bit of time to get the graphics done and get all of these posted.

I'm sorry these are coming in late. We have had people out sick at work and I am a Letters about Lit judge meaning I have over 3500 letters to authors to read, plus I now get to judge grants and they just tossed 100 on my desk. So I am doing this before I start those.

I do have one question. Fredrik Backman's “Things My Son Needs to Know About the World“ is listed as Short Story/Novella. I actually accidentally voted for it before reading the category. Is it in the wrong category? It is non-fiction, more of a memoir than anything.. 4y

LibrarianRyan @OrangeMooseReads I have that same problem. Since I am not in the public library world anymore, if it's not a big name author, I don't really see it or pay attention and then I'm like ...uh... wow. 4y

LibrarianRyan @ljuliel add the ones you have read. When added to the group it make for a robust list. The first round is nothing but narrowing all the books (sometimes as many as 30 a category down to a more manageable size. Plus it is a great way to share what others may have missed. 4y

LibrarianRyan @Cinfhen I know. I didn't even like most of the nominations. I want to know who/what/how things are nominated to begins with. The list just sucks. I have read many of them, but i also read so much better. 4y

rrkreads @LibrarianRyan True, Goodreads one seems more like a popularity contest than actual book awards. Plus many books don't seem to be in the right categories? 🤷 4y

RainyDayReading @LibrarianRyan There‘s been a few booktubers I‘ve seen that have read the nominees for a certain category, cast their vote, and then when the results came through they looked at how many ratings/reviews the winners had vs the others. Usually the more ratings (or the more we‘ll known the name) the better the chance they‘ll win. Was really interesting watching them break it down. Doesn‘t make me dislike it any less though 😪 4y

LibrarianRyan @TheBookStacker I will say last year when I saw Prince and the dressmaker wasn‘t nominated, I and several others nominated it and it ended up winning. 4y

Hooked_on_books I was annoyed with many of these winners. The only one I‘m truly happy to see is Recursion, which I thought was terrific and voted for. The rest? 😡 4y
