This GN about an alienated man & his bunny was heading towards a So-So, but managed to pull some psychological depth out of its hat (see what I did there 🎩🐰) at the end that raised it to a low Pick.
Appearances to the contrary, this isn't a children's book, its themes being existential angst, emotional cowardice/defensiveness/avoidance (depending on how judgemental you're feeling) and adult relationships, with a side-order of cutesy goofiness.

Bookwomble The photo I've taken shows up the dirt on this library book, which makes me feel rather icky! 😬 1y
