A Grue of Ice | 
so-soThis book's villain is so melodramatic that it felt like he'd wandered in from another book. The tone shifted dramatically whenever he was in the scene. The rest of the book was OK; stories about Antarctica are thrilling on their own. Could have used more floatplanes though! (Why put one on the cover if it shows up for only 4 pages?)
