The thing about this certain cohort of self-published queer fiction is how kind it is. I quote enjoy these regular doses of kindness. Also: hello sequel set up, I am intrigued!

#SummersEndReadathon
Now to -finally- get to the new (as of last month) release from one of my fav indie authors!
One of my reading goals this year was 50 physical books and 50 ebook, and while I'm trundling along nicely on the physical side I'm not even halfway there in electronic form, so I'm thinking of using #SummersEndReadathon as an opportunity to beef up that number. (Gonna start with the tagged book because I've been craving some queer, self-published work.)
I was all about a genderqueer Cinderella retelling. There was some really interesting plot points but it didn't quite come together for me. Also having Cyn end up with their stepsisters was a bit too close to incest for my taste.
