so-soSome parts I hated, some parts I loved. Most were okay. For me, the original legends lost their flavor in Arthur Rex. I prefer a more nuanced approach to the characters and stories. While I understand this is satire, it often felt crude rather than funny. Things that make you roll your eyes in medieval texts (dwarves are bad, sodomy is evil) do not fare well in modern retellings, even when played for humour. Forget realism. Embrace the fantasy.
