Attention all campers! After tallying the votes, we have winners! Thanks to all who participated in the poll!

We‘ll read and discuss half of a book each week starting in June. At the end of the month campers decide which of the two books we read in that month heads to the end-of-summer finale. Then you‘ll cast a final vote to decide which book will be our #CampLitsy summer champion!

I had my 4 choices picked then I saw @thebluestocking post a nonfiction list and I scrambled through my list of 2022 NF and found 2 to round out the list. #camptob2022 #camptob

Day6 of #LitsySummerCamp and it‘s all about bbq! My favourite thing to do on the bbq(and no, it‘s not shrimp!🙄)is a marinated butterflied chicken. There‘s two marinades I love, ones a lemon herb with lots of zingy lemon & fresh herbs, the other a Moroccan with chilli coriander & preserved lemon. Sooo yum! Now I‘m hungry😂

It‘s been so crazy at Camp Kochi Kopi that I haven‘t had time to write home in days! But it‘s Friday so I‘m curling up the fire with a big old stack of books next to me, ready to read past my bedtime. #litsysummercamp @ImperfectCJ

Day 5 of #LitsySummerCamp was either a hiking book or a photo from a hike you took. This is the creek that runs through Acacia Flat camping ground in the Grose Valley, Blue Mountains of NSW. The only way in or out is walking up that cliff you see. Takes about 6hrs each way. I used to camp there a lot when I was young & fit, and unfortunately it got mostly burnt out in the 2019/20 bushfires. So now all I have are a few photos and my memories.

Catching up on my daily activities for #LitsySummerCamp Day 4 was:
❓What would your favourite literary character do at camp?
*Patience Sparrow would be roaming the woods to find herbal remedies for all the sick & injured campers!

Nick and Charlie would probably be playing rugby, making out, and cuddling with the camp doggie!

Luna Lovegood would probably lead some art projects, specifically involving fashion and wearable art. And she would probably teach campers how to spot nargles, wrackspurts, and other imaginary creatures.

My current Arts&Crafts hobby is knitting, crochet & cross stitch. I love looking at something and thinking “I made this!” I‘m currently working on a chunky scarf & a baby blanket for my next grandbaby. I also enjoy jewelry making(beading, earrings, bracelets etc)and I love to try and paint & draw even though I‘m terrible at drawing. I‘ve also tried leatherwork. I watch a lot of makers on YouTube & I‘ll try anything once👩🏻‍🎨 #LitsySummerCamp

Weather here at Camp Wanderlust was a bit on the hot side with temperature of 88 but we did get some rain which just made it muggy. #litsysummercamp

Day2 of #LitsySummerCamp and the weather here in #CampLockdown in Sydney Australia is matching my mood, grey cold & rainy. So here‘s a picture of the beautiful sunset last weekend, much nicer than what it‘s actually like today. I honestly can‘t see this hard lockdown lifting anytime soon so I‘m getting anxiety about missing my baby girls pregnancy & the birth of my grandson🥺At least I have #audioknitting to occupy me🧶🎧
