Does anyone else get irrationally excited when an author likes your book review on Goodreads? 😲😆❤️

After @JoScho posted about this yesterday, I had to download and read it. This is the first Karl Drinkwater story that I‘ve ever read, but it definitely won‘t be the last! This one is a novella, and a surprisingly engrossing read for such a short book. An excellent horror! This one really kept me on the edge of my seat. A great October read!

First the birds went quiet.
