A pretty standard Urban Fantasy. From Vampires to Valkyries everyone you could think of is in this book/series. There were some really interesting ideas and some potential for great characters but it seemed a bit jumbled, kind of like there were two books in one. You can tell the author is a fan of Criminal Minds.
