Mehso-so

7&7 is a free, multi-genre anthology intended to introduce readers to DSP Publications‘s stable of authors. There‘s a ton of variety here, but it‘s obvious most of these writers are used to working at novel length. The bulk of the stories range from decent but unmemorable to downright shoddy in their construction.

I did love the stories from Amy Rae Durreson, Rick R. Reed, and Jamie Fessenden. They made this worth downloading.

Pain day reading stack featuring my daily short story, a painfully dense academic text, a painfully honest memoir, and Thomas King‘s first poetry collection (which is in no way painful). I really want to finish PRETTY FACE by Lucy Parker, too.
