Instead, they have to deal with the news that the bookstore is closing. Before the day is out, there'll be shaved heads, a diva author, and a very large shipment of Air Jordans to contend with. And it will take all three of them working together if they have any chance to save Wild Nights Bookstore.

This book has its delightful quirks. Pros: bookstore setting, saving a bookstore, fun characters, queer characters, BIPOC characters, teen characters learning self-expression isn't a death sentence. Cons: some underdeveloped characters, characters all had so much going on that they overshadowed each other, the ending solution was very social-media-magic-can-solve-all, things got rediculous. #LGBTQ #Bookstore

Kenyazero I almost forgot, this was one of my #Roll100 this month. (edited) 2y

A perfect book for Independent Bookstore Day weekend. Teens discover their beloved indie is being sold and well, they have a plan.

Technically I've already started five of these books, but hey that still counts for this month's TBR right? 😅
