Le jeune psychiatre, Philippe Tissié, allant à l'encontre des récents écrits de Charcot, utilise l'hypnose. Cette rencontre changera leur vie à tous les deux. Sur ce sujet hors norme et méconnu, après un travail fouillé de documentation, Christophe Dabitch reconstitue la vie d'errance d'Albert Dadas et la resitue dans le contexte médical de l'époque. Christian Durieux, de son trait délicat et plein d'empathie, donne chair à un personnage doux et effaré.
