The beginning was difficult to get through. There was too much time spent on backstory that was irrelevant, and drawn out sections that could have been cut. That said though, it seemed to get its act together later on in the story.
The concept itself was an odd one that I wish had been explained, though I understand why it wasn't.
Not a huge fan but I wouldn't mind seeing where it might go next.
