pick3.5🌟 This was a fun adventure. It isn't anything super new or surprising, but it does have some exciting action sequences and a good message of doing what is right and finding strength within one's self. The art is also very eye-catching and pleasing. I'll be checking out the next book from my library to see what happens next to the young heroes.

Finishing off #24in48 with books 2 and 3 of the Amulet series, which is a fantastic middle grade graphic novel series that is an epic adventure of good and evil with brilliant characters. The world building and the visualization of these characters and worlds is absolutely wonderful and I'm stoked to read more! #comics #amreading

pickVolume 2 continues to bring great characters, beautiful environments, and plenty of fantastic action. More of the world is revealed as both children find their place in the adventure.
I found the plot a lot weaker in this book. The logic surrounding their mother's poison and cure seemed outrageously unlikely. Completely took me out of the story.
The rest of the story was fine. Its predictable, but fun. I still have high-hopes for the series.
Like cure others from life-threatening poison! That's what you mean right? I'm so confused by the logic here. It's like 'hey I have a cure for cancer but I'm only going to take enough to help my mom and no one else, because taking more and helping others would just be greedy and cause harm' What?? The?? Heck??!!
Kind of feel like maybe, just maaaaaybe, this cure is pretty inefficient. Has anyone ever thought of finding an anti-venom? And also are these trees just dicks? 'Hey we have the only cure for certain poisons and venom but don't pick the wrong fruit or you die!' What the heck?
Ummmm these arachnopod things seem to have a pretty health population. Has no one though to grow and cultivate the only cure for their venom?? This seems terribly irresponsible.

pickWhen I read this book I was like 11 but I had to make a review because I liked it so much. I think this book had stellar artwork imaginative character design and moody color and also consistent pacing it was an all around good book
pickSo adorable. Beautiful and lush art accentuates the strength is this world building and of the characters themselves. I especially love that the house moves and fights!
